pre production.
Filming day is finally here! Before filming, we planned everything we needed for the day. This included timings, costume, makeup and transport. This helped us keep organized so that our filming goes smoothly.
hair.
As we wanted to achieve an 80's blowout hair do for our protagonist, none of us were familiar with this hairstyle. Luckily, Pinn was more than happy to try it out for us.
transport.
On filming day, we were filming locally. This meant that we didn't need any expensive forms of transport to travel.
The BTS Skytrain made it easy for us to travel without getting stuck in traffic. We only travelled 1-2 stations, as we needed to film on the skywalks as well.
We also used taxis to get from our filming location back home, as we needed to drive back into the soi and it was too long of a way to walk.
timing.
As a team, we allocated a start time for the day and where we were filming. We needed to take into consideration the time needed for hair, makeup and costume. This was very important, as we also needed to communicate this to our actors so that they are on time and they know where to be.
I also took the liberty of re-drawing our storyboard for that particular day of filming. This made it easier for us to follow the storyboard, making filming as efficient as possible.
weather.
Checking the weather was essential for us. A lot of the scenes we wanted to film was outside so having external lighting was the most important. December isn't in the rainy season, which made it easy for us since we knew for sure it wasn't going to rain and omit our filming.
